Description

Born in Ulm, Germany, in 1879, Albert Einstein left school at the age of 16 without graduating. A rebel and dubbed irreverent by his teachers, he struggled to submit to the strict school system.

He moved to Switzerland for his studies and became a highly sought-after professor. The development of his theory of relativity, with the well-known formula E=m?, eventually brought him worldwide fame and recognition.

In 1933, the Jewish-born physicist emigrated to the United States, where he received U.S. citizenship in addition to his Swiss citizenship.

This unique collection includes an Israeli banknote and a coin and a stamp from San Marino, each featuring a portrait of Albert Einstein.

– Stamp commemorating Einstein s 100th birthday

– Banknote with Sorek Nuclear Research Center

– 500 Lire bimetallic coin
